A thin spiced cookie made of spelt, almonds, sugar, French butter, egg, rye sourdough and sea salt. Without baking powder but with spices like cardamom, nutmeg and clover.
Typical served during Christmas time in Germany but in other parts of the world enjoyed all year round.
